DMOC pairs University of Denver students in need of professional digital media development and design experience with Colorado non-profit and not-for-profit organizations. DMOC is designed to provide instrumental support for those organizations that wish to develop, establish, maintain and expand a digital presence via any type of digital media, including multimedia presentations, videos, web development, audio production, branding, community networking tools.
By combining the expertise of a small DMOC staff with the budding talent, energy and commitment of undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in digital media related programs at the University of Denver, the Digital Media Outreach Center plans to quickly reshape the NPO digital landscape in Colorado. DMOC provides media planning, design, development, administration, education and ongoing support for clients.
DMOC gives students and faculty opportunities to apply and extend curriculum-based learning to community-based projects. This approach also involves our students in socially redeeming digital projects that, we hope, will encourage them to consider technology careers in the non-profit sector and provide them with the desire to remain civically engaged throughout their professional lives.
